As soon as the mobilization required by the client, the preparation phase will start by a team (shop technician, managers and selected field engineers) meeting and announcing the client requirements.

As per the specs announced tools will be serviced and assembled accordingly to meet the operation requirements.

A poor preparation leads to a costly operation or in worse case a fail operation, this is why the QA/QC expert should be also present in this phase as independent person to guaranty to the client that everything is done as per required.
